Spinal adjustment
Targeted joint work for lower-back and mid-back pain that has stopped settling on its own.
Spinal & movement care
Plum Quill is a small chiropractic practice built on long assessments, plain explanations and adjustment techniques chosen to match how your body actually responds.
We look at how you stand, breathe and move first. Nothing is adjusted until we both understand why it hurts.
You leave able to describe your own spine without jargon — what is tight, what is irritated and what we are changing.
Low-force instrument work, mobilisation and soft-tissue release are offered if a traditional adjustment isn't for you.
Our approach
Most people arrive after months of guessing. The point of a first visit is to replace that guesswork with a clear picture — and a plan that gets shorter over time, not longer.
A movement screen, posture review and a conversation about your day, your desk and your sleep.
We show you what we found and which findings actually relate to the pain you came in with.
Hands-on or low-force work on the joints and tissue that are limiting you, at a pace you agree to.
Two or three exercises only — enough to hold the change between visits without taking over your week.
Care we provide
If your concern isn't listed, ask. A short conversation is enough for us to say honestly whether chiropractic care is the right starting point.
Targeted joint work for lower-back and mid-back pain that has stopped settling on its own.
For stiff shoulders, aching necks and the dull ache that arrives every afternoon at a screen.
Range-of-motion work for runners, climbers and anyone whose training keeps stalling at the same point.
Assessment of the upper neck joints and jaw tension that often sit behind recurring tension headaches.
Side-lying and cushioned positioning, with pelvic and low-back care adapted to each trimester.
A tapering schedule of visits and home work for long-standing pain, reviewed out loud at every step.
Your first visit
Forty-five minutes, most of it spent talking and testing. Wear clothes you can move in — leggings or shorts and a t-shirt are ideal.
How the pain started, what makes it worse, what you've already tried, and what you want to be able to do again.
Movement, joint and neurological testing. We narrate what we are checking and why as we go.
You hear the plan, the alternatives and the likely number of visits — then decide whether to start that day.
Practitioners
You see the same practitioner each visit, so nobody has to re-read your history out of a file.
Chiropractor & clinic founder
Noor opened Plum Quill after years of appointments that felt rushed. They work slowly, favour low-force technique for first sessions, and spend as long explaining as treating.
Chiropractor & movement lead
Caleb handles the loading and rehab side of the practice. He is the one who will ask what your training week looks like before suggesting a single exercise.
Questions
No. You can request a visit directly. If we think another professional is a better first step, we will say so at the end of the assessment rather than start a plan.
Most people describe pressure and relief rather than pain. If you would rather avoid traditional adjusting altogether, we use instrument-assisted and mobilisation techniques instead — just tell us.
We give you a realistic range after the first assessment, with a review point. The plan is designed to taper, and we will tell you plainly when ongoing visits stop being useful.
Comfortable clothes you can move and bend in. If you have recent scans or notes about the area, bring them; if you don't, nothing is required.
